New Here - My '35 120 Sport Coupe

Hello all, I'm new to this forum. I've been looking for a 35 packard coupe for years now. A couple of years ago, I actually bought a completely rebuilt 35 120 engine and transmission. Well, time has past and I found and bought my '35 rumble seat coupe to seal the deal.

The car was actually only sitting for a little while before I got it. The original engine turns over by hand like butter. I'm looking forward to this very neat project. Because I now have a duplicate motor/trans combo, I'll be posting some things in the classifieds. If anyone has any interest right away, feel free to PM me. Thanks!

Sure thing. I am scanning this forum for some information, but am wondering if there is a good source for parts. In specific, I'm currently looking to redo the entire front end with new bushings and such. Any good sources?

All the vendors should have some individual parts and there may even be a cross to some items available locally. For a front end rebuild kit available in thoroughness from minor to complete, I expect Kanter will be the best option. Look under group 15 in the 110-120 category. Descriptions of items in deluxe and standard kits are available in his main catalog.kanter.com/packard/

Have you looked at The Packard Club Yellow Pages?

packardclub.org

There are more vendors than thoses listed, but it is a good starting point.

And to assist, have a look at Post #3 in this thread. I too have a copy, it's very good reference material for anyone with a '35-'37 "Junior".

Recommend you buy a copy of "The Production Packard" by Dar Kuehl. A good book for those with the 1935-37 Junior 120s and 115C cars. It is available on Amazon for $19.99. I wish I would have had mine in 2006 when I bought my 115C.

Yes, I actually bought "The Production Packard" a while back. It coincides nicely with the parts manual. I also just ordered my catalog from Kanter. Thanks guys.

I'm not entirely familiar with Packard and the value of parts. I would like to get this engine out of my garage and am considering posting it up on ebay. Out of curiosity, what would something like this motor be worth with the accessories attached?
