Welcome to Packardworld. This is THE website, along with The Packard Club website. We're here to help. When you narrow your search, and let us know how far you are willing to go for a car, we can probably help you find your car. (Except Henry Greene...but that's another story for another day...)
Yes, the 120 model designation identifies the straight 8 cars, introduced in 1935. They all had hood ornaments, standard was the simple "bale cap", optional was the "goddess of speed", or the upright winged cormorant. The Coupes from 35-37 are a 2 passenger "three window" style, and from 38-later were a 5 window style, larger area, with a small back seat in most models. Clocks were optional, as were radios and heaters. The correct tire size for the years you state was 7:00-16.

G'day Garrett AKA skateboardgumby,
to PackardInfo. Looking in the Packard Model Info area on the Website will give further info on the various models you're interested in. And when you do find your dream Packard Coupe, remember to include it in the Packard Owner's Registry here on PackardInfo.

Wow! The people here are so friendly and helpful, especially to a novice, such as me. Some speciality forums are intolerant of "beginners" in any field of interest. As such, I'm all the more appreciative for the information. I'll probably be asking lots of questions from this point forward.
What I know about the mechanical aspects of a car wouldn't fill a shot-glass. Yet, I admire and appreciate the beauty of pre-War Packards. God willing, I'm going to own a Packard one day. as always Garrett Meadows

Hi Garrett,
Welcome to the absolutely best source for Packard information. I think we have some genuine national treasures who regularly contribute their experience and knowledge. If you haven't already, I suggest you peruse the links contained in the Main Menu. For example, the Packard Model Info link lists all the models available by year and the options available. Mark

"I am a big fan of Dame Edna"
My wife and I are fans too. We always go and see each new show when it comes to Sydney. One time we took my wife's Mum and sat 2 rows from the stage. Sir Les Patterson, one of Edna's alter egos, opened the show and I'm sure Kath's Mum was in shock. We were also covered in saliva, one of Les's signature traits! BTW JW, get ready for a Jacki Weaver sighting.

I've only owned my '41 120 for about 7 months now, so being fairly new to the Packard world I can attest to the kind and helpful community here, who generously share their knowledge of Packards.
