Good for you--my '40 110 looked much worse (well, still does) than yours, but mechanically she's in good shape.

The first question we have for this project is whether these holes are supposed to be here. If so, what are they for? I have not seen any pics of something going there.
Also, if you guys can point me to any build threads where someone has gone through this journey, that would be greatly appreciated. I have been digging, but there are a lot :)
