Just about 2 weeks away now. Who is planning on attending? Who is planning on bringing their Packard?

I'm planning on being there and driving my Packard. It's worth the trip all the way out there just to hear the Johnny Trudell Orchestra perform in person! Listen to the music, walk the grounds, look at the Packards, you can't ask for a better afternoon.

Just 6 days to go until the PPG Open House and the weather forecast looks like a nice fall day - Sunny and temps in the lower 60s. Not going to overheat in that weather.
I will be bringing my two 1941 Packards and Dick Kughn has committed to bring 5 Packards from his collection. Again, plenty of stuff for the kids, a "cruise-in" of collector cars and the bib-band sounds of the Johnny Trudell Band. Hope to see you there.

Roger, when will you be there? I'd love to get some engine bay detail shots if you will permit it, to sort out some old amateur plumbing work.

Hello bkazmer:
Photos are not a problem. I will be there all day. The event opens to the public at 1:00PM and last until 5:00PM. However, I will be there earlier to work on the set-up. You are always welcome to volunteer and work to make this event successful. Obviously, you've seen my avatar and know the car. Make sure and look me up.

Roger,
Speaking of pic's of '41 engine compartments, friend Noel is after some so he can get the correct decal locations for his '41 160 engine. Would it be possible for you, or somebody else attending, to take some decal location pic's and email them to me? ozstatman@gmail.com

Hello Mal:
Yes, I will take some photos of the engine bay for you and your friend, Noel. I will make sure I take photos of all decals and I will e-mail them to you. Note of caution: I never spec'd where the decals should be placed. It was all done by my engine re-builder, Brian Joseph, owner of Classic and Exotic Service, Inc. He is noted as one of premier engine re-builders and does a lot of work on Duesenbergs. He manufactures a lot of engine parts and does have a couple of Packard decals and badgesclassicandexotic.com/store/c-203-packard-specific.aspx That said, the car was judged 3 times by the CCCA and each time it took a first place. If any points deductions were noted, then I corrected them for the next showing. Same with PAC judging where I took first place at both national meets were it was judged. Neither the CCCA nor PAC had an issue with decal placement, so I assume that the work done by Classic/Exotic was correct. Somebody is bound to nitpick it.
