Does anyone know where the red (center lead) from the speaker selector switch connects to the radio? It's a male jack and I cannot for the life of me find where it plugs in.

Thee is a female jack on the transformer of the amplifier section.

And it's more of a "feel it" rather than "see it" location.

The jack is fairly thin metal so when the lead was pulled out, if done haphazardly or pulled at an angle it is possible the jack was bent open slightly. Wire could be loose when reinstalled so check the tension. The wire needs to fit fairly snugly so it won't fall out or your speaker has a poor connection and is noisy.

Thank you one and all for the solution to my problem. And yes, the red lead was just hanging there because the female jack had opened up. You are all amazing!!
