Desarba, welcome to PackardInfo.com.
That's an Eight Station Sedan, not sure if 1948, 1949 or 1950.

Dave, I had it on the tip of my tongue.
The red car is a Fiat Punto, not sure if 1997, 1998 or 1999. The photos seem to be taken in Spain.

G'day Desarba,
to PackardInfo,

And, if the Eight Station Sedan is yours, I invite you to include in in the Packard Owner's Registry.

Hi everybody, firstable say that I'm from Spain, my English is not so good and thanks for the corrections.

The red car is a 90's fiat punto

The Packard maybe it's gonna be mine but I'm not sure how is the cost of this car. And also I'm not sure if the v8 engine that it has is original.

Desarba, If the car indeed has a V-8 engine then that is an incorrect non original engine for the car. The engine in the car originally would have been an 8 cylinder inline engine. If you could get a photo of the engine that is in the car I am confident someone on the forum will be able to tell what model or type on engine it is. For your information I have attached a photo of a Packard engine of the type that was originally in the car.

Thank you so much clipper47. For sure that the engine is not that one.
I think that the last owner was planning to prepare a muscle car.

This week I'm gonna take more pictures.

The price of these cars? Even with a v8 engine are high or not?

Thanks for the info

If you take a photo of the engine we might be able to tell the origin of the engine. In North America the most common hot rod transplanted engine is the Chevrolet small block V8 , most commonly the 350. Packard station wagons such as this car are quite rare and very desirable in original form. I can't speculate on the value of this car in its present shape since it has been so heavily modified. A whole lot depends on how well the modifications were made , paint quality,,interior, etc. In any event it would have no or little value to a collector of original condition Packards sadly.

It has been modified/parts missing or swapped but I think the basic vehicle is an "eight station sedan".
The manual didn't give a model number for them but there should be one. I did not search exhaustively.
The bonnet ornament is possibly wrong, should be "wing" type but maybe custom was an option. I base this on the front bumper and the tailight cutout. If you look close bumper's open in the middle and the ends are painted and tailight holes are rectangular, typical of the 22 series. If it was a "leftover" it maybe titled as a 1949. 22-9
It would have come from factory with a 130 HP straight 8.
