Mal, interesting check list to execute for getting the engine running, the ignition "cables" have a cool design but the best is the rawhide-seal.

Up until just recently, the Indy 500 personnel thought that the 1915 Packard pace car was a touring car, because of some photos taken when Packard was testing at the track. There were no race cars or fans in the stands in those photos. Within the past 5 years or so, this roadster was definitely identified as the actual pace car, through other photos discovered showing the car actually leading the race cars, and with fans in the stands.
The current owner, Allen Strong, is the man responsible for discovering its true history.
