I need a brake booster for a 1955 Packard Clipper. Perhaps there is someone who rebuilds them. Thanks for any info.

I would recommend contacting tiger treadlevac. Would you mind sharing what model of car you have? The power brakes have a rectangular easamatic pedal. Do you have the brake unit in the car or is it completely missing?

If you have the TreadleVac, they are not difficult to rebuild yourself and do not require any special tools. Most of the work is just in getting them cleaned up inside and out! That said, there is a code stamped onto the end of the cylinder that will tell you which unit you have so that if you do decide to rebuild, you'll have the proper one. If yours is the original 1955 unit, it should have P-2 for the earlier type or P-3 for the later type. Anything else means the unit has been replaced with one from a different year which is not a problem as long as the kit matches but to be honest, I'm not sure what the differences are.
