Putting a 41 160 back together. Pretty sure the perforated angle iron and straps on the car came from home depot and not East Grand. Where is the triple horn set supposed to mount? Thanks

Could really use a picture as I don't find any holes or studs that match up with the bracket that holds the 3 horns. Thanks.

Thanks guys for the photos and info. The firewall on this car does not have those holes, and the horn bracket also does not have the three hole pattern. I think I am going to have to play Kuenstschmied. Perhaps the Convertibles had them mounted differently because of the tubing for the top cylinders running across the cowl. O the things that can happen in 60 years of shade-tree diddling.

Interestingly, even the stiffening ribs on the Zis cowl are the same as the 160.

At this point it would have been drifted apart. The Soviet convertibles have the horns "in the right place".

Ross, before you change to a metalsmith something leaps in my mind. The so-called parade convertibles have the horns in front of the radiator grill.
I don't know if Dave (O_D) and our other prewar experts will confirm such configuration and arrangement for an One Sixty but you could check the bumper to perhaps find a kind of short flagstaffs instead of the missing holes.
