I may be wrong, but I think that car ought to have an Ultramatic, not be standard shift. I think the Super DeLuxe 8 (like that one) and the Customs came with the Ultramatic. I agree that the two tone scheme is incorrect for the year as well. The interior is way off!!! Not Packard like...

All of the cars below a Custom were available with any trans: 3 speed, overdrive, and even Electromatic. My very first parts car was a Super Deluxe with Electromatic.

I think this car has been discussed before. I distinctly remember the plumbing fixture with the red handle underneath the heater controls. I can't find the thread.

And yes, the Neal book is a great resource for any admirer of the 22nd/23rd series. I highly recommend it.

For $13,000+ I'd expect the correct engine.
