Don't hold me to exact figures but I know 1929 was Packard's most profitable year, IIRC something like $23,000,000 net on 55,000 cars sold, and all senior cars.

Factory list, least expensive, $2275. Most expensive with factory coachwork, $5985.

626/633: 43,130 built, lowest @ $2275, highest @ $2835.
626 Speedster: 70 built @ $5000
640/645: 11,862 built, lowest @ $3175, highest @ $5985.

626 range: $2275 to $2585
633 range: $2375 to $2835
640 range: $3175 to $3850

Looks to me that although it's a neat, tidy and serviceable interior, it was redone with modern, "incorrect" materials.
