The one modification I like is the way the hood has been modified to open to the front. The clam shell, side opening, hoods on the Clippers and these cars are a PITA.

That's the modification that bothers me the least. The flat black, and the maroon details. The Lamborghini doors are big head scratchers for me.

That is a lot of bulk and weight in the hood to be supported in that fashion -- I'd bet it is considerably more than what the later back opening hoods weigh. No denying it is more convenient but it would sure be interesting to see more details on how they did the hood hinge and support.

I know there are kits for converting the doors but again those are long and heavy. Sure hope the spring or balance mechanisms for both conversions are quality items.

Be careful with this one. It appears to be a scam:

Looks like what's left of a '40 120 Conv Sedan. Are you saying, West, it's a scam because the price seems low?

No. A friend called on it, and the car apparently is now in "California", and the seller wanted money wired. Friend said he'd pay for it in cash when he got there. Seller said it might be sold by that time. Friend said he'd take the risk. Seller hung up on him, then called back and said it was sold.
