For the price difference you might as well buy the running one.

I wonder if that 41 Lionel Barrymore car which was "found" and subject of a thread a few years ago started out as one of the business limos or if that was a full custom job to accommodate the wheelchair. Don't recall seeing any more info on that car or its possible restoration.

No expense was spared on this 33 packard, but in order to save some money they slapped it on Craigslist cause hemmings ad runs $55! Makes you wonder. Its still a wonderful Packard.

I thought the 41 Barrymore Packard was modified by a company called "Hollywood". I saw the data plate on it when Don Rook had it for sale in Arkansas years ago

Don't know about the '41 but the '38 Barrymore Twelve Packard is a Henney Conversion. Lots of photos of it here from when it arrived in Oz in May 2012.

Hi

Some choices kicking around the east for your years end consideration:

A '46 Clipper Eight, just a solid daily driver:
http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/cto/5375024435.html

A '49 Custom Eight, may be better than it looks:
http://altoona.craigslist.org/cto/5379366896.html

A '53 Patrician, 33K mile original, watched for a year from its first $6,500 CL ad, price doubled for an eBay auction, now settling back closer to reality:

Lesson to speculators: avoid Packard sedans!

A very pretty '55 Clipper Panama, ready to enjoy with pride:

A '56 Clipper Deluxe, also ready to enjoy, odd painted lower grille:
