Took the Clipper to a little car show and let her have some fun in the sun.

Kev, there is a question at the PAC forum on the radio interchange. IIRC, when you were installing yours you found a subtle difference in the size of the dash opening and a radio bezel that wouldn't fit thru. Do you remember how much the difference was or which years will directly interchange. I think 51-2s are the same and believe those will also fit into some of the 53-4s but not all. Just wondering if you remembered which models would not interchange. The fellow is wanting to find a radio off ebay to fit his 52.

I can confirm '51 and '52 are the same.

I believe the issue was that I bought a new bezel and it wouldn't fit the "standard" radio I had in my car, but it did fit the "Signal Seeking" radio I eventually got out of a '54 Senior.
Let me see if I can find a pic of the dash, I think that the opening is slotted horizontally to allow for some differences in knob spacing.

Pics showing the difference between the knob spacing on a "standard" and "signal seeking" radio. Regardless, the dash will accommodate either one without any modification.

Thanks Kev. I don't know if 51-2 had those slots so something to check.
