Just can't stay away

It is a Motor City model. They sell for between $350 and $500. I think it is ridiculous, but I watch them on Ebay hoping for a deal, and have never seen one go for less than $350. Which, since they sell for $350 new, I don't get idiots paying $500 for used ones. However $1895 is totally nuts.

As time goes on, I notice that people will say and do anything to get their car sold, check out this "Prototype 1953 Packard" it's enough to make you sick!
That's it, when I get the Speedster done I'm going to advertise it as a "1936 Packard Vincent Prototype Speedster" and have it start out at a $100,000.00 bid and see if it goes up higher. I wouldn't be bitching about it except that I read a thread over at the H.A.M.B. where the guy who actually built the car was commenting on what had been done to it- "I built a 52 or 53 fordor for a guy out of Philly, who later moved to Florida. Les Miller was his name. I started out doing it as a nice looking mild custom, Burgundy pearl, pinkish color scallops, just lowered, smoothed, and WWW with caddy caps. Nice! Later, he got bitten by a "bug" and had it subframed, and tubbed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brought it back, to have it converted to a 2 door, though he didnt' want to change the doors. Then decided to chop it, but saw Billy Gibbons Copperhead, and decided to do it as a business coupe style body (shortened roof). Did all that, against my better judgement, did some other crazy stuff to it, put in a Bill Mitchell racing engine, and then he saw Rick Dore's Caddy. So he wanted it painted a sunshine yellow pearl, light on top fading to a deeper yellow/orange on bottom. Then put Razberry Candy flames on it. Yuck! Yeah, it looked like a circus car. I can post pics of it later, if you like, I'll have to look for them (I think I hid them away to prevent embarrassment!) Anyway, it'll show you what NOT to do to a Packard! Anyone in Fl. know what happened to it? " The whole thread is Here

That prototype is one ugly car. Put flames on anything and it looks better, right?
