The vehicles of the Japanese Emperor Hirohito have often been featured on this web portal. He apparently preferred Packards.
- example 1 - example 2 - example 3 In addition to the photo of -> this interesting open Packard, I also found a picture of a Packard with the imperial insignia on the Japanese Wikipedia website.

Thanks, Chris.
What we see today was the vehicle of one of the main organizers of the 1917 Russian Revolution, Leon Trotsky. Wikipedia says of him: "In the subsequently formed government, he served as People's Commissar for Foreign Affairs, Food, Transport, and Publishing until 1918, and as People's Commissar for War until 1925. As War Commissar, he founded the Red Army, in whose organization and victory in the Russian Civil War he played a significant role." The Russian Tsar once drove luxury cars with Kegresse half-tracks, and Lenin modestly opted for a Rolls-Royce, so large that it seemed as if he wanted to unite the working class directly in his car. Trotsky settled for a Packard. This photo was taken in 1922. The caption reads: "On the move like a Boschevite lord: the tracked snowmobile with which Trotsky undertakes his overland journeys through Russia." Identifying a classic Packard is a tricky business. I'm guessing a 1916 Twin Six. Now you can crucify me. image source: reddit.com Click to enlarge!
