Earle C. Anthony, a major West Coast Packard dealer, often had special things made for the cars he sold. I've seen the armless Flying Ladies before and once saw a 1956 Patrician with chrome tail fins that he had added and as I understand it, he was personally responsible for the Cormorant getting that name rather than Pelican as it was originally from the Packard heraldry. There is a blog here under his name which might have more details.

Wow, in good tune and with the 3 speed/OD, that might surprise a few cars moving out from a stoplight (if it has a decently low rear axle ratio to go along with that OD). Note the old school Sun tach drive box on the firewall. Add doesn't say what size engine, but a 374 would be great ![]()

That '34 'boat-tail' is frankly hideous, you can tell they used the hood from a '40's car for the deck! They might better have built a roadster-pickup.

Those street rods are pieces of junk. Even if you chopped two zeroes of those prices they still would be a rip off.
Think of it. You almost could buy two Roush Mustangs and have something with engineering behind it instead of one of those junkers. Hot rods are for idiots.
