The '48 Custom Convertible looks like an interesting project for someone with deep pockets. The glove box door is from a non-Custom. If the engine that is out of the car is truly a 'Thunderbolt' then it's not a 356 and is from a later model.

I don't know what to do about the bullet hole in the stainless trim. That stuff is welded onto the body using some special method.

I thought that we had already made fun of the two 1941 Clippers. Geography and decent judgment will save me from those two, although I could still use a set of good long front fenders. Oh well . . . .
