First thing you do is post your question on the Pre-war discussion forum. It will get the better attention and more responses at this location.

We understand that folks new to the site may not understand that we have different sections based on specific interests. This helps to keep the discussions in some kind of order and easy for others who follow to search for information.

Thanks.

the nose (radiator/grille surround) must be removed to extract the grille. Once you have the nose off, it will b apparent, bearing in mind to be sure to detach the rod that moves the shudders before pulling the nose.

G'day JWB,
A warm to PackardInfo, and I invite you to include your '39 120 in the Packard Owner's Registry.

Maybe, Webmaster extraordinare, BigKev can move this thread to the Pre-War Forum?

Yes, a warm welcome. You will find many here with helpful information on your 1939 One-Twenty. They are nice automobiles, and great drivers.
