Quite the transformation. Your passenger apparently has staked out a spot and is claiming ownership. Looks like he couldn't be happier with the view. Congratulations on a nicely done job.

..She loves that front seat... She usually will look over a car before she stakes her claim but this car she just hopped right in...

Thanks..still working the bugs out of her..I have named it Christine lol ..She tried to eat me yesterday while I was tightening the fuel lines, the hood springs don't work and hubby had a pole propping the hood up and I bumped it and she chomped away. My cousin had to come lift the hood off me :(

We Bought the car on Friday the 13th of July, 2012. We bought the car because the interior, trim and body was in great shape except for the few spots that you see in the beginning of the video. The guy we bought it from said that he had the engine in the shop and when I seen the motor I had to borrow the money from 2 people but I finally hauled it home.

The engine was locked up and had to use some diesel to break her free and had it running and driving by the first week. Drove it around the yard because we hadn't plated it and it seemed fine. changed the seals and cleaned it but didn't paint because we wanted to leave it showing some age. I came in to this page and found out all the info I needed and it turned out to be the original motor and trans. so we moved on to paint.

We did the body work and paint and had it rolling around the yard by the second week 7/31 I took the pics without the lights and trim. Once we let the paint dry and put the lights back on...we had got the insurance and plates so we were ready to take her for a test drive on the road. We pulled out and we were and then found out we had no 2nd gear.. ..so we turned her around and back home we went.

Got kinda discouraged plus had to build some cash back up. So we came back in here and started again. Took it apart and it didn't really look hard so we called Peter Fitch (? don't know if it okay to mention his name or not) ordered the parts on 9/13. Took her for her 2nd maiden flight. It was great, shifted nice, drove like a boat....so today I drove it up to the car wash and junk yard and the darn speedometer broke on us. So I am back on here about that and the brake light switch...although that one is a 10.00 fix.

sorry for the long sob story..I have been holding it in for awhile so we are at 2 months and 1 week and out of money...

This car is so clean it really needs to go to someone who can do the interior the right way....needs door/trunk seals and windows. I am willing to sell it too someone for a good deal if they fix it the right way
