That's sounds like a great idea! I am going to hit LSRU and Salado next year in the ol' PackRat. Many of the kinks with my car should be worked out by then. MAN! I am lookin' forward to next years shows!

Not to be picky, but isn't the picture under the 1954 Cavalier in the new entry to the owner's registry a picture of a 52 200?

Hi to all looking in, from Dave, Larry's Packard Shop. Today I have corrected the photo for my 1954 Cavalier. I will add a better photo soon. The first photo was my 52--200, named Patina, which I will add to the registry later. Patina is having its transmission rebuilt in San Antonio TX. *My Larry's Packard Shop moniker is in respect to the guy who got me hooked on Packard in the late 80's. He is gone now, but the use of his shop name is to honor his expertise on Packards.

Howdy--just saw your posting. Yes I did drive Patina to the meet in Salado several years back. The car drives like a dream, but is in need of paint. Several sections of the body has been scrubbed with Turtle Chrome Cleaner with rust remover. It will take a lot of the surface rust off, at the expense of muscles! The acquisition story about this car is worth a blog, essentially a gift from a University of Texas Professor of Engineering. Thanks you Leonardt, what a car!! : )

WHAT A BEAUTY! I hope to repaint my 52 with original paint, that blue/green original. Its been repainted once prior to my ownership, but really needs it again. If you have time go to Ebay, cars and truck, type in Packard, scroll down until you see that blue 200 from Long Island. It is beautiful!! But has many senior series adds.
