This is presently on Aussie eBay. Doesn't have the same numbers as you specify, it's for a '35.
Or this on US eBay for 40-41. Or this also on US eBay for 35-47 with 4 available!

lets get back to the initial issue - what is wrong with the chain you resourced from a known Packard supplier? Whether NOS or Reproduction, the size should be the same? If you got a wrong part, surely the known Packard supplier would make it right? The 36-50 chain is quite common, and available, there should not be an issue of size if you have the correct chain?

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the replys. Egge is presently out of stock. My supplier is reputable and will make good on the chain, thats not an issue. Flackmaster, I've done one or two Packard timing chains ( years ago ), I'd appreciate explanation as to "36-50"? Again Thanks to All for Your time. Packard 385

Do not know theses engines, so it's probably the wrong part.

from memory the 36-47 six and 282" 8cyl and 48-50 288/327 chain is the same, but I may be wrong about the 48-50 application. Regardless, the 36-47 120/282" chain is same throughout the years and is not difficult to source. Kanter offers new chain with gears for $155..
