I will try and get a clear photo of the Limo clock tomorrow. In the meantime... here's a rear clock from a '42 Formal Sedan. It is the same clock as used in my '41 Limo.

Per your request, here is a close up of the rear clock in my '41 limo. Also a good look at the the wood (elm?) veneer. The divider veneer is in good condition compared to the side windows where it is completely gone in some places.

Guscha: Nice link you posted to the Harley Earl site. Thanks for pointing out the car owned by Buck Jones wasn't a Packard

I can never understand why everyone thinks that Harley Earl was such a great car designer. My opinion is that he could never hold a candle to such greats as Raymond Dietrich or the best of them all THE GREAT DUTCH DARRIN.

What Harley Earl was good at doing was spending GM's money
on hiring good auto designers. Those boys in the trenches are the ones that really did the auto designing for GM. Earl could go through the styling studios of GM and pick out what he liked.
