My broken rear window regulator

Even though it broke at the weakest point of the bar, there must have been one terrific bind to cause it. The good thing is I don't believe the bar moves at that point or in relation to the sector plate. If you can't find another regulator I think that one could be straightened and top and bottom edges of the bar welded to the plate.

Those should be easy to locate from a parts car as I would image that are not high-demand parts.

There also are a couple of vendors who specialize in window regulators. One that comes to mind is "Regulator Roy" in New Jersey, 609-828-8537.
