Crank shaft counter weights

Hi all, I need some more help. we need to regrind the conrod journals on a
1937 SUPER EIGHT, model 1500.
the counter weights will need to be removed to enable access to grind the journals.
has any one any advice on removing the counter weights and the bolts appear to have been plugged

This has been covered on here many times. You might want to search for more details but in a nutshell, you set the crank in a mill and mill out the weld and the bolt heads, allowing you to remove the counterweights and then the remains of the bolts. Your shop may have to make new bolts to reinstall though others have found Allen-head bolts of suitable thread, length, and strength. Of course a crankshaft balance will be needed afterwards.
