One of my favorites war machines of bygone era's is Shwere Gustav and i think there was one named Dora. Maybe even a third one.

I think you'll find that isn't a "step" but rather the gas tank filler cap! The more learned here can correct me if I'm wrong.

Right Mal! 1934 was the only year that Packard incorporated the gas tank filler into the tail light. Something that Chevrolet picked up a few decades later.

The body of the ambulance rings a bell. Two ambulances, possible congenerically cut from the same cloth as the Brussels car, made a guest apperance in the 1964 German adaptation of the Canadian movie "Flight into danger".

A car for connoisseurs of art is this Bugatti. I'm almost convinced that we see a multi-million dollar car, that found no buyers in its days but is useful today as spirit of discord and to examplify the difference between usual people and real car experts.
