I am trying to identify an early car about 1922 that may be a Packard coupe or possibly a Chrysler. There is only a distant view of the rear spare tire and trunk area. It is determined the owner of said vehicle is a logging contractor named Siguard Hage in the Coquitlam - Port Moody area about 1922. In the same photo there are a number of 1922 Model "T" Ford cars. The pictures are available at the Port Moody Museum site gallery photos number 121 and 119. I am not familiar with how to reproduce the pictures therefore any assistance would be appreciated.

I have in my collection a 1926-27 Packard-Tesla-Waltham partnership time distance and speed instrument AKA speedometer watch combination.

G'day dross,
to PackardInfo.

I had a look at the Port Moody Station Museum with a view to including in this thread the photo's you cited, but couldn't find a photo gallery. Is the Website I accessed the right one or can you point me to the gallery you mentioned?

The result of the Tesla-Waltham partnership is shown below (-> link to the story and -> patent) but Packard-Tesla-Waltham partnership sounds interesting.

"Mal (Ozstatman), may I help you?"

Gerd,
Once again you've not only helped me but all on PackardInfo.

EDIT - But I'm still in the dark as to how/where you found the photos.

Mal, you had been on the brink. I followed your link to the Port Moody Station Museum but unlike you I was powered by a long afternoon nap and picked up the scent (see pic below).
But now back to our new friend and his request.

If the pictures date from 1922, the car in question couldn't be a Chrysler. W.P. Chrysler had taken over the moribund Maxwell Motor Company (Jack Benny's automotive foil on his radio shows) and put a newly-designed auto that would bear his name into production on December 20, 1924. The car was named the Chrysler 6.

That is good info and will help narrow the field and therefore it may be a Packard.
