Is it possible to delete a posting from the forum? I've had occasion to post something then later found what I was looking for elsewhere. Afterwards, I'd like to go back and delete my posting.

Garrett, you can edit and delete your posting just click on one of the buttons at the bottom of it. I believe Big Kev has it set up so the poster can do this within a certain time frame, but do not know how much time he allows for this, probably 24 or 48 hours after the posting.

Delete and edit is time limited. Big Kev had to change the parameters 2-3 years ago when a poster quit and deleted scores of posts leaving lots of holes and unconnected threads in the forums.

I could be wrong on the exact times but believe it is after 2 days or 48 hours you can no longer delete but can still edit. After 1 week I think the edit function is closed. Anything that falls outside of those times and Big Kev is the only one that can do changes.

IIRC the allowed time to delete posts is 7 days.

Thank you and everyone else who responded. I appreciate it being made aware of the time limit to delete a post. I'll be much attentive in the future so I can delete ridiculous posts I make.
