I did not know that. Mine came with a really nice cover and I thought that that was the way they came. Hopefully someone else will chime in
Thanks for the info W

Also I just saw a Saturday Evening Post ad and it was a drawing but it seemed to have a Tonneau Cover

Tonneau cover? Or top boot? Some people use these terms interchangeably, although they are two different animals.
I don't recall a factory tonneau cover for 1936 120. Why not take photos of this item and show them here? Let see this tonneau.

I think the language confusion is indeed the issue. A top boot covers the collapsed and folded convertible top. A tonneau cover covers the entire passenger compartment - they were popular with British sportscars because their top bows had to be assembled and were such a PIA to use.

Sorry for my mistake. It is a top boot,, It just covers the convertible top when the top is down, Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
I there a bag or case that came with the car to store the top boot? Thanks for your attention Will

Usually it is a rectangular plain, flat, canvas bag with about a 2" foldover flap at the open end with a single push snap closure.

The comments about the junior convertible coupes not having a top boot are correct. I am not sure about the same is true for the convertible sedans. I have only seen one with a boot. That 115C belonged to Wally Walmsley (sp.?) and it is pictured in an chapter about it in the book "Packard: The Pride". Beautiful automobile with an interesting history. I wonder where it went after Wally's death several years ago?

My memory says that the 55 Caribbean that Howard Hughes gave to Jean Peters was later purchased by some Packard enthusiast and a picture of the open trunk showed a boot bag.
