That is good information Ross. I have been wanting to try the nickel-copper line, I hear good things about it.

Here's the brand I've used, just excellent to work with, as others have attested.

Sounds like I am going to leave it alone. Brakes were just gone thru all new cylinders, hoses, cut to fit the shoes to the drums and it stops pretty good, (like a loaded truck)
I second the copper alloy brakes line and any other metal tubing. Used it on my G wagen, easy to work with, does not rust. I would also add that I would get a tool to flare the end. I usedtoolpan.com/Mastercool-72475--Universal- ... 2AIVE4GzCh1mKQoCEAQYAiABEgLQdvD_BwE , bit expensive but work like a charm. Thanks again for all your input W james

I have a Ridgid 23337 345-DL Flaring Tool for making double flares. It cost about $80 and I've made good flares and have used it on mild steel tubing up to 3/8" with no issues.
I too recommend the copper-nickel tubing.
