1935 vs 1936 eight radiator

I found a 1936 eight radiator, my car is a 1935 eight. I can't imagine that they are interchangeable as the 36 grill is laid back and the 35 is straight up and down. Does anyone know if the 1935, 1936 eight radiators are interchangeable.
Thanks,
Andy

They are not interchangeable.

The 1933-36 Parts List for Eights and Super Eights is available on line here; I'm always glad to help but note that you could address questions like this yourself by consulting the Parts List.

PS - looking at Flackmaster's comments that follow, perhaps I jumped the gun - looks like the question may still be open.

Shell/assy is definitely not interchangeable, however, I am confused by the parts book listing the radiator core and anchorage assy and the cradle as the same, so maybe, just maybe the answer to your radiator only question is yes?
See parts book page 133.

"I can't even manage to locate the parts book on this site."

Try this:

- Select "Packard Literature and Manuals" - 1st item in Main Menu on left.

- Scroll down and select "Parts Lists and Manuals"

- Scroll down and select "1933-1936 Packard Eight Parts List (Parts Manual)" It's a link in blue

- After it opens, be patient give it a little time, save it or print out the section/s you require.

Thank you for the directions to the parts manual, I know where I will be spending hours reading. I was not able to find a definitive answer regarding the radiator. I was asking because I have found an available 1936 radiator, I want to have it recored and then have the ability to remove the one currently in the car and swap in the rebuilt one and diminish the cars downtime.

Hollander's Interchange 16th Edition says the radiators are interchangeable between 1935 and 1936 Eights.

I have found one locally I think may work, just looks as if the lower water hose attachment point has been modified at some point. The lower photo is the one for sale, pictured near red tank. My car is currently running and driving great, I just want to do anything I can to help it run a bit cooler in the 90-100 plus degree heat I get in the summer months, I suspect a newly rebuilt/recored radiator may help.

Good Morning...I note that you are in Los Angeles and one of the really good Packard Restoration Facilities is located in Santa Ana. It is called Custom Auto and is run by Robert Escalante. His phone number is 714-543-2980. You might wish to give him a call and see what he might suggest. Custom Auto has been at 3rd and French for more than 30 years and has a very good reputation.
