 to PackardInfo.Concerning tracking previous owners, if you're a member of PAC their Roster Keeper may have some details. Otherwise I'd imagine it will be difficult to trace ownership/history of your Packard. In the meantime, I invite you to include your '38 Twelve in the Packard Owner's Registry.

City Directories, not phone books, are a great resource when tracing individuals past addresses and occupations. The Bakersfield public library may have them in their collection or be able to help you locate the directories.
