looks like a 138CD Limo 4:45 mark. Took about 3-4 hours to get those scenes with the car in it. 5 sec of fame. Even got my name in the credits lol.

Thanks to Mike Franko of PNT for putting me in touch with Lumos Pictures when they requested a car for the short film. Filmed it about 2 miles from where I lived.

2 of those actors were in Breaking Bad from what I understand.

I'm in the midst of moving and came across a stack of old well-read comics with this one of The Illustrated Story of the FBI from February 1959. I loved cars even then but I don't recall ever buying this type of comic so it was a surprise to me to see the cover! If there is a more appropriate place to post it, please let me know and I'll do so but creating a forum for Packards in Comics seemed an odd thing to do.

The Packard, of course, is the red and white one which is a 2-door hardtop resembling a 400 but has elements of both 1955 and 1956. The side trim is clearly 1956 while the front fenders with non-hooded headlights look more like 1955 although it's so stylized it's difficult to tell. It's also the same color as my 1956 Clipper Custom.

The new Spanish-made Netflix murder mystery, High Seas, started out on land with what appeared to be a long wheelbase 22nd series sedan or limousine. No clear outside shots but there were a few not too clear ones. There was also what appeared to be a 1941 following behind.

Looks like the bad guys in the Packard are being chased by the F.B.I.

No bad guys in the last scene that I posted but certainly in the FBI ones! On the Spanish show it was a caravan of sorts, surrounded by mobs of people. Unfortunately the Netflix app wouldn't allow a screen capture so photographs of the screen was the best I could do. The 22nd series was mostly inside shots with only glimpses outside. Interested show so far too.

I was told there is a Packard in the new (not recommended) Dumbo movie.

Maybe a bit of a stretch but there was a model Caribbean being consumed by a volcanic eruption in the 1960 film The Time Machine. I've seen these models before, which are quite boxy and un-Packard like but close enough to be recognizable. In this photo of the screen, it is at the lower left.

A few days ago, I was watching a documentary on the history of bluegrass music on PBS. During the program they talked about Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs doing the soundtrack for the movie "Bonnie & Clyde" and releasing a recording of songs from the movie. . The cover of the record album had a Packard on it. I've attached picture of the album.

Not trying to go too far off track here, but that record is amazing because the executives at CBS seemed to be able to con Scruggs into almost any cheesy idea they came up with. That record has almost nothing to do with the movie. Sure they did a couple of tunes in the movie. It was made in an attempt to capitalize on the popularity of the Hollywood movie. The soundtrack came out, I think, on Warner Brothers.

Now, that is not the first time they pulled Scruggs into something really bad. Back in 1955 a guy named Arthur Smith, one of the best tenor banjo players of all time, put out a record called Feuding Banjos which was a Tenor banjo playing against a Five String banjo. Well, CBS put in on TV without the tenor banjo, and then sold it to Hollywood, put out millions of records by Scruggs and Flatt titled Dueling Banjos, and got sued by poor Arthur Smith. But the damage was already done because Arthur Smith on banjo was God compared to Earl Scruggs who is a big banjo hero thanks to CBS and their tricky executives.
