Hi again - does anyone know a supplier for replacement rubber floor mats (the mat that spans from the front seat to the vertical bend of the firewall and covers the jute padding)? Photos attached of the pax side which, although very brittle, is still largely intact. Drivers side is almost disintegrated. Existing has about a 1" plain border and within border is narrowly ribbed.

The old stock or NOS mats we've had disintegrated when unrolled. JUst yesterday we had a visit from a carpet and rubber mat manufacturer. Molds are $15,000 and up, not feasible to reproduce. Either use a hardware store ribbed roll of matting or carpet the front with large rubber heel pads on both sides.

good luck

Jake, a floor covering of hog's hair carpeting and a rubber heel pad works well on these 37s. This is what my 115C convertible coupe has. The thick pile carpeting does not look right in these cars.

Rubber Cal has what appears to be a similar pattern in their fine rib series but you would have to sacrifice the solid outer edge. If the ribs per inch isn't correct on the linked item they have other rib configurations and widths. If the ribs shown in your photo at 90 degree angles are one solid mat perhaps you could glue two pieces on a substrate and have the seam disappear where the floor angle changes.

Don Lampen in Holland MI (donaldlampen@yahoo.com) is reproducing this floor mat now.

(I understand it is an old post, just adding for posterity in case people are searching the forum for answers)

Don also reproduces running board mats for the '37 One Twenty. His work is excellent and he is nice to work with.

Agreed. Had a nice chat with him at Hershey in 2018.
