Was 1935 Packard Super 8 Coupe Amelia Earhart's?

I'm an Earhart researcher and author who has been studying the Earhart disappearance since 1988, and have written two books on the disappearance, the most recent one, published by Sunbury Press in 2016, is the second edition of "Amelia Earhart: The Truth at Last," and though it's been blacked out by the mainstream media, it remains the bestselling Earhart disappearance book of the past 30 years. My blog,EarhartTruth.com, contains over a million words, and it is this regard that I write to you.

My most recent blog post, "Marshall seeking 'final proof' on Earhart’s Packard, concerns a claim being made about a 1935 Super 8 Coupe Packard that was gifted to Amelia Earhart. Please see the story at www.EarhartTruth.com.

I write to this forum because we have reason to doubt that this claim is true, as we have no real evidence to support the claim. I hope that someone with knowledge and experience with these old Packards might place you in a position to comment, or perhaps you can refer us to someone who can more definitively answer this question for us.

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Mike Campbell

G'day Mike,

I'm somewhat familiar with the '35 Super Coupe in question. You can read about in Post #1364 and onwards in my Blog. Although it won't help with your enquiries, I offer it for what it is.

Thanks
PS - In your Blog, this caption of a photo of Ross, Robyn and the Coupe "This photo appeared in Australia’s Otego Daily Times on March 28, 2018, with the caption, “Gold Coast couple Ross and Robyn Marshall with their 1935 Packard. Photo: Hokitika Guardian." it should be New Zealand's rather than Australia’s.

Off topic, we named our '37 115C "Amelia", as she was manufactured about the time A. Earhart disappeared.
