Hey Geezer,
That's quite the project you have taken on!! I echo other's sentiments on your ambition AND bravery. I have never done any car frame wood replacement, but have remade some significant wood 'parts' for various projects over the years. Not sure what you're asking here re the wood?; are you looking for patterns, querying wood types, or wondering if there is a source to procure them already made up?? I HAVE watched a number of videos on the old-time assembly lines and was surprised at how much wood went into vehicles in the 20's and 30's. I would sure consider maple for the choice of wood, as it is fairly hard, stable, easier to work with and shape than say, oak, and, properly treated, will resist rot. I'm sure others who have 'walked this walk' will chime in here with good direction and maybe some additional wood suggestions. Hope you will post your progress; I'm sure there are many eager to witness the car being 'brought back'. I know I am! Good luck, Chris.

All of the roof wood is rotten to the point where I can't use it for patterns and the right side main floor is gone to the wood gods so I need to re make all of them but need something to go by
