Thank you but as stated, it’s not mine and I selected the checkbox that it isn’t. I kept the entry in my name while waiting for the anti-theft and engine numbers.

Looks like the Henney, in Post #865, above is for sale as per this thread in the AACA Forums.

Thanks to Paul (r1lark) who saved the records from his family's Packard dealership(s) in Hempstead and Merrick Long Island, 1120 additional vehicles (1949-1958) have been added to the Registry for historical reference.

The info, I thought was interesting from how many cars were transferred between other dealers and the 49s that got returned to Packard for renumbering.

That info is contained in the Vehicle History section.

A little background to this sudden increase in Registry numbers.

It came about after Paul(r1lark) messaged me, advising "My family had a Packard Dealership (Packard Hempstead) in Hempstead, Long Island, New York from 1949 thru 1956, (and then Studebaker/Packard in a different location) and I have put all the new car sales records in an Excel file. There are about 1100 Packard new car sales listings from '49 thru '58." After referring Paul's advive to Kev, Kev then advised "....be prepared for a significant jump in the number of cars the Registry." That it certainly did, 1,119 more entries to be exact!
A HUGE to both Paul and Kev for bolstering Registry entries so significantly.

When Paul contacted me it wasn't with the intention of adding all these Packards to the Registry. Rather it was to see whether a comparison program could be run to see if any of the cars on Pauls list show up as cars listed in the Registry. If there were any matches, Paul would then be able to supply the current owners with the original purchasers names/addresses, being part of the information he had.
