Not exactly project related, but in that Packard realm. I've always enjoyed this picture of Satchel Page sitting on the bumper of a Packard.
So ordered a print online and then ordered a frame for it online when I realized how much custom framing at a local place was. The print is roughly 12 x 12, so I ordered a frame/double mat combo with an 11 x 11 opening for the image. I think it came out pretty good and will look great on my home office wall.

From what I understand, that likely is Satchel Paige's own green Packard convertible:

Passenger side door seal installed, and fender back on. No seal trimming required.

Looks great! I’d bet the doors are nice and tight now and maybe even a little springy until the rubber settles into place.

Car fully back together. Took it for a test drive. For sure much quieter in terms of air noise since I sealed up every hole in the firewall. Also not hearing air leak from the doors.
Mystery groan from the suspension when going over bumps is completely gone. Greasing the polyurethane sway bar bushings did the trick. On the transmission cooler front, the line coming from the transmission was hot got too touch for more than a few seconds. The line coming from the new cooler was significantly cooler and I could hold onto without it feeling hot at all. So must have been less than 120f.

Beautiful car and great work that you did to not only get it back on the road but to also make it look so nice! Your blog about it with some editing would make a great stand-alone publication for anyone tackling a similar project.

Agreed. The color is beautiful, as well the commitment and restoration. Great project blog.
You have done a wonderful job Kevin, with the Packard and the website as well, giving people the incentive to get out in their shop and celebrate life with their classics. Cheers!
