Nice appearance with the blackwalls but those tires appear hugely oversized and way out of proportion.

I like the WW's myself. The BW look is growing on me, but I like it best on the really dark cars and those with disc wheels. I think the BW look is sharp when a car has discs with pinstripes that are light in color, not really a fan on the wire rim cars.. personal preference. On light colored cars I think BW's look totally out of place. The car above does have some large tires.. almost look like truck tires.

This car was painted blue and had yellow wheel rims before it was restored and painted black. This car was originally purchased by a women in 1934, passed on to her daughter and purchased by the dealer in 2013. The dealer commissioned a restoration but changed the color of the car and of the wheels. The restoratio receipts were over $400,000. The car sold for $ 230,000. See link below

Tough choice on the WW versus black. The original car in question looks, to me, better with white walls. I personally like the contrast of the dark body against the clean white.
On the other hand, the black walls do make the car look a bit more "menacing", if that's the right word. A good look either way, but I think it has more to do with the quality of the car versus the tires themselves. -Kevin

This "whitewall versus blackwall" tire discussion began before the oldest of us were on the planet and will probably be continuing after the youngest of us is gone from it. But it's a nice, lively topic that many of us seem to enjoy and have firm opinions on.
For my own car, were it almost any color or combination of colors other than all black I almost certainly would have picked blackwall tires but as it is, I just felt black tires would be just too much black.

Usually can't go wrong with WW on a lighter car or BW if it's a darker car.
Though WW do pop nicely on darker cars, it takes some of the attention from the car itself I think. Though I suppose this is true for any car with WW.
