This is the large heat shield that protects the front Dual Quad Carb from heat and radiator fan air.
Typically used on the Carribeans. This is a reproduction, power-coated part which may have minor scratches from shelfware. Make me an offer!

I am sure there is one on Patrick's car at the shop for reference.
I believe I am incorrect, and this is the side/rear heat shield. You can see it in this picture posted by Randy a few years ago. Here it was painted engine color and he added some rubber anti-rattle strips to it. I am sure someone probably has a better picture of it somewhere in situ. Attach file: ![]() ![]()

I lent the original front shield from my HT to Randy some years ago to use as a pattern to make one for his car. He cut scraps from one of his old leather belt to replicate the original anti-rattle feature.
Also, if you check the parts book, you will find the two front bolt for the valley pan are slightly longer to accommodate this shield.
