Working on my 1937 six, need to adjust the valves. Have the dimensions, but I can't find any info on the valve sequence, from the front of the engine, do they go I E, or E I ?

I don't have the info in front of me, but usually, you can look at the intake and exhaust manifolds and figure it out from there.

Each exhaust valve has its own port, but the intake valves have a shared port, so intake valves are in three groups of two. I used to carry the valve sequence info around in my head, but now have trouble finding my head. Anyway, it should be easy enough to figure out. Shop manual?

G'day hpantely,
to PackardInfo.

I invite you to include you '37 115c in PackardInfo's Packard Vehicle Registry.

And from memory, what little there is left of that, the valve sequence from the front of the engine back, is EI, IE, EI, IE, EI, IE.

Pretty sure it's EIIEEIIEEIIE, but not 100%. If you look in my 115c project blog, linked below, there are some details and pictures of the valves.

Good luck!

That was quick. for including your '37 Six Touring Sedan in PackardInfo's Packard Vehicle Registry.

Note: There were 2 Registry entries shown for your Packard, one of which was titled "1082 N/A" (????) so I deleted that entry.
