Is this the RHD 115 Convertible that recently came in through the port of Charleston?

for including a photo in your Registry entry.

Is the photo from the UK? Seems to be surrounded by British cars.

Bob J, exactly as I anticipated it should look. The only difference is that my square headed nut was directly into the head. Where did you get the spacer or was that part of the bulb/gauge kit? Thx, Tad

The fitting you called the spacer is the one that goes in the head casting NPT hole. It is not a kit, I was just lucky enough to have it all intact that way in my motor when I took it apart.
I suspect that that part is available through Max Merritt as they have warehouses full of used parts.
To be honest, I had to use a sealant when I reassembled it, I found if I torqued the fitting into the head to get a good seal it collapsed the ID enough the sensor would not slide in properly.
I have attached a highly cropped image that results in a bit of a blurry shot but it gives you the general idea.

Big Kev, very astute observation. Yes, picked it up in Charleston last month after its journey from Southampton. I’m guessing you saw my FB post?

I popped up on my radar since I also have a 37 115-C Convertible Coupe.

Ozstatman, the photo is from Georgia USA. I'm just a Yank who's smitten with Brit cars and Right Hand Drive (and who has a very understanding wife)!
