I had the priviledge of driving this car today and it was a dream. It is my father-in-law's car. His father bought the car in the 50's and sold it. After many years of badgering, the son got it back and finished a meticulous restoration many years later. I am posting this because I believe it needs to be seen by Packard fans. It is my understanding that any Packard from the year 1935 is rare and not many 1204's exist. For what it's worth being a restorer of pre unit Triumph motorcycles, I appreciate pictures of any kind and would expect that across the board of any enthusiast.

They're all scarce, and the senior models are very scarce. That's a beautiful example. (Nice Chebby, too!)

Gorgeous, and some of us prefer those 385-ci eights to Twelves. The painted grille shell and headlight pods whisper understatement, confidence, make a Rolls-Royce look gauche. Too bad Packard didn't do this with all their '30s seniors.

And that deep claret more alluring than the common circus wagon resale red.

I'd prefer body color spokes, but a lovely car all the same.

Would your Father-In-Law be agreeable to your inclusion of his '35 Super Eight Coupe Roadster in PackardInfo's Packard Vehicle Registry.

Thanks for sharing a number of pics. Nice car. Still waiting for a chance for riding in a rumble seat.
