Farewell to "George" after 50 years.

You may have seen my FaceBook notice regarding my family's decision to sell "George," the name my dad gave to this 1930 Packard Speedster Eight boattail in honor of George Jepson, who sold it to my dad in 1973. This car rarely ever saw a trailer until it was restored for the second time in 1998, and even then, it saw quite a bit of road time on CCCA CARavans, and one stint on the Colorado Grand. Of all the cars I've ever driven, and I've driven a huge variety of all different makes, models, and eras, this car... hand's down ... is the most fun car I've ever driven. It will be a sad and emotional day when it is gone.

Beautiful car but too much scrolling needed due to the long, long URL to be able to read the text.
