There were a couple 1940s with the quarter windows filled in and running boards deleted by Bohman and Schwartz. I never saw a 1939 (1940 was easier due to the recess around the windows) but I used to have a 1940 110 that way too,

Very unusual to see a radio delete plate on a 56, and on a Custom no less.

That might be the same car I put an offer on a year or so ago. If not, it has the same colors as my 1956 Clipper Custom but ordered in reverse of the standard which was an option.

1955 Clipper Deluxe Sedan. Unrestored, but looks relatively solid and complete. Has been for sale for months. Think I may have posted this one before, but recent major price reduction from $3,000 to a more reasonable $1,200. Virginia:
