The linkage adjustment is to reduce engine flare. I can't see why your throttle pressure setting would affect your parking pawl whatsoever. That oil pressure reading when warm is a bit high but I doubt it would affect anything.

Adressing the over rev "engine flare" during low to high shift.
I realized after the trans rebuild, I had not adjusted the throttle pressure lever and linkage which led to the significant engine flare. humanpotatohybrid guided me in the right direction to adjusting it. Took about 10 minutes of testing and adjusting. Now it is operating properly. It required adjusting the linkage back nearly 1 inch and now works great. I will check the exact position of the lever arm on the trans at its current working position for documentation.
