Linkage adjustment definitely fixes the sticking in park issue on any incline.

The linkage adjustment is to reduce engine flare. I can't see why your throttle pressure setting would affect your parking pawl whatsoever.

That oil pressure reading when warm is a bit high but I doubt it would affect anything.

I adjusted the PNDLR selector control linkage, not the throttle linkage.

I previously tested throttle pressure linkage settings, and it seems to work best at the lowest hole.

Addressing the over rev "engine flare" during low to high shift.

I realized after the trans rebuild, I had not adjusted the throttle pressure lever and linkage which led to the significant engine flare.

humanpotatohybrid guided me in the right direction to adjusting it. Took about 10 minutes of testing and adjusting. Now it is operating properly.

It required adjusting the linkage back nearly 1 inch and now works great.

I will check the exact position of the lever arm on the trans at its current working position for documentation.

Can you feel the transmission shift at roughly 5mph when slowing to a stop? If so, you overshot the throttle pressure setting.

There is a valve that retards the low range band operation when you are off the gas. If the throttle pressure is too high then this valve will never actuate, resulting in a harsher low range brake band application at the 5 to 7 mph downshift.

Great info.

I do not feel the car shift into low when slowing to a stop, so hoping I've found the sweet spot.

I ran through different spline adjustments for the throttle valve shaft lever on the trans today. It did not like any other setting than exactly where it was originally (which is hard to explain.) The car would not shift out of low no matter where the throttle linkage adjustment was, unless I selected ^D.

What I can say is the original setting holds the throttle linkage cross shaft connection above the distributor. I'll post a pic as well.

It shifts great at any throttle depression.
