Is it an automatic or a manual?

The literature archive has the service manuals for both.

You will inevitably have many questions about the proper service of an Ultramatic.

Describe some history on the car. Why do you think the transmission needs to be rebuilt?

Could you explain the problem you are encountering that is leading you to want to do the rebuild?

I had the case with my '56 Clipper Deluxe that the Gearshift Selector Lever would not pull back toward the driver and would not move between gears.
The cause was improper lubrication. The grease had dried and tube inside the column was stuck in place.
