Another option for dispensing fluids into places like differentials, trannys etc. where you are fighting space and gravity is the pumps that thread right to the oil jugs/bottles.

I use this style in my shop and it works a treat. The tube is clear so you can see the fluid going through, the tube is small enough to clear the inlet ports and allow an overflow tell to let you know the level is reached. The push down action is easy to control too so you do not get a heavy flow that ends up on your shop floor.
Take care,
Bob J.

I will give that a shot, Thanks Bob. Forgot to mention I too have a bad fuel problem as well as trans issues. I am pretty sure it is of my own doing. I didnt top up the tank for the winter. it was about 3/4 full. when I went to the gas station this spring on top of the trans slippage As I neared the station the car didn't want to run well at higher speeds. it was fine at 40mph or so but really didn't like throttle. filled the tank and didn't have any problem for about a mile heading back to the storage unit. Then started acting up again. Must be water in the fuel. Only does it when you try to put more fuel in the carb like for accelerating. at 40mph or less she runs smooth as normal

I never run gas from last season. I use a hand pump to get it out, then straight to the lawnmower jerry can. And if I didn't buy 93 then it wouldn't even be decent lawnmower gas.

Hmm,I have never bought 93 octane for my car, always 87.I am not sure how My 327 would like it.Never had any problems Till I didn't make sure the tank was full for the winter. I am pretty sure the aki rating for regular was between 72-82 from 1946-1954

I’ve never stored my cars away for the winter or paid any attention to how full the tank is but, as I start and move them around the property them every couple months, I keep a gas stabilizer in the tank which seems to help.

Yeah you don't need 93 for a flathead engine, but it will keep longer than 87, not just because of the higher octane, but also 93 doesn't get sold as fast at the gas station so it's a more stable formulation as I hear.
