G'day Russell37,
to PackardInfo. Irrespective of the pedigree of your '37 115C Convertible Coupe I invite you to include it in PackardInfo's Packard Vehicle Registry. While unlike all other '37 115C convertble Coupes it really appeals to me. I like it's looks. Looks somewhat like a Club Coupe sort of body. Not that I'm biased, even though I previously owned a '41 120 Club Coupe. Or am I?

Obviously it's had several later street rod style modifications made to it. What are the first four digits of the Vehicle Number.
It more than likely 1089 (115c Convertible Coupe). It would have originally had a plywood bulkhead directly behind to the front seat and a package tray, which enclosed the front rumble seat area. I don't imagine there would be much room for backseat passengers when the top is folded down because of the way the top folds. The bows would pretty much be right where someone's head would be. Also I see the rumble seat handle has been deleted and so have the rear fender steps. The only two body styles that had a rumble seats are the Convertible Coupe and the Sport Coupe. The Convertible Couple is same body shell from the firewall back regardless if was a 115c or a 120c.

Really doesn't look too bad as a resto rod IMHO.

Have you looked for a coach builder’s plate on lower cowl or door sills? If it were modified when new there should be something

This is what a 115c Convertible Coupe body and top frame assembly look like.
Now I have split seats from a business Coupe, but it would have originally had solid bench seat. I also have the seat further back than normal.
